Around four to six weeks ago...in Birmingham...a mother was returning to the house where her two twin sons were (they were around 17 years old each and gamers). The house had been broken into that afternoon by some local thugs. Mom pulls up...sees the intruders on the porch, and stops...reverses and tries to leave. Thugs shoot mom....hitting her, and paralyzing her for life. She will live.

Thugs went back into the house and shot dead both twins.

Thugs? Well....the number one guy had been in prison for a manslaughter charge (he’d actually killed someone but got off lightly), and got released in the past year. He’d assaulted someone else in recent months and just gotten bailed out.

No one in Birmingham will talk much on this episode...two kids dead and the mother never to walk again, with the thug likely to walk freely in a dozen years again. It’s the same old story....prosecution guys won’t use the full power necessary to preserve society for everyone. No rallies or bigwigs to say something about the society that we live in.

The family is struggling to pay for the funesrals...I wonder if some of that Trayvon tee-shirt money could help?
