HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two opposing groups in Houston with opposite stances on the George Zimmerman verdict will likely come face-to-face Sunday in dueling protests.
So far, all of the protests locally have been against the verdict. On Sunday, a group in favor of Zimmerman's acquittal will step out and speak up.
The Houston Police Department plans to have officers on scene when dueling protests kick off around 4pm Sunday in the River Oaks neighborhood

The cops will probably hobble the pro-Zimmerman folks “for peace and the public good”...
” The richest people in Houston live in River Oaks.”
That is why I was wondering why they are letting these thugs come in..
Come to think of it there are some very, very rich people that live there are democrats..
LOL! “Trayvon, Sr.”-—I meant Barry.
Don't be too sure.. I have personnel friends that talk the talk, but behind the scene they are rock-rib conservatives.. same with Hollywood.. :)
It has been a few years since I have even been in that area..My friend that lived there died so don’t have any reason to go any more..At the time Houston was pretty much democrat if I remember correctly including me..that was when the democrats were real Dem’s instead of COMMUNIST..
I should have known..LOL!
I went back home (Houston) in 2011 and took my son, then 16, with me to Houston to visit a relative. We arrived late at night and drove to the area of the neighborhood to see if I could remember how to get there. My son asked me if any white people lived in Houston because at that time of night, none were to be seen. I told him yes, but they’re all in bed sleeping because they have to work the next day.
Guess which side the police will take. Hint: It won’t the ones who supported George’s acquittal.
Because they do not have the intelligence.
Rachel Jeantel talked about Trayvon being afraid of being raped by a gay man...on a talk show after the trial.
But before that, TM said there is a creepy ass cracka looking at me.
And I believe every word she says! :)
River Oaks used to be the white neighborhood to live in, not anymore.
Texas.
