The Obamacare disaster is coming. Sure, the president is delaying or dismissing parts of it because they

Good for Sen. Lee. I think we all know how this ends, though. The so-called “leadership” of the gop wing of the demopublican uniparty will either buy him off or throw him under the bus for having the temerity to stand in the way of their beloved socialist medicine scheme.
The delay is on purpose so they can get passed the 2014 elections and then the hammer will fall if they also win the house
“Leadership?” WHAT LEADERSHIP? Fill the vacuum, Mike; go for it!
Obamacare.......makes you wonder how many of our elected officals on both sides have financial interetst in companies signed on to this disaster. This could bring in millions for our hard working unAmerican treasonist friends!
GO MIKE LEE!!!!! How Refreshing to have a man with GONADS doing the right thing!!!
I don’t care if he’s a newcomer to Washington - we need him as Speaker of the House. Its time to put Boehner and crew out to pasture. let them graze in the liberal fields where they seem so comfortable and happy.
Uh....Mike Lee is a SENATOR, not a House member!!!
I hope he is watching his back.
I am sure McCain , Graham and Hatch have their knives out and ready to stab him.
President Lee has a nice ring to it.... Just sayin’
Do NOT depend upon the GOP because ObamaCARE is
RomneyCARE is HillaryCARE is Socialized Medicine.
RomneyCARE BEGAN with the GOP and Mr. RomneyCARE, himself.
The GOP will NEVER stop ObamaCARE because they
invented it, and they are not under it.
You are right. My mistake. However, maybe he should be in the House where he would be in a majority. Boehner still needs to go.
I know. The R’s better learn to do more of this or else.
It’s tempting to believe that implementation will be so disastrous that it will be abandoned, but remember Stalin’s collectivization of the farms in the Ukraine. He totally convinced himself that the suffering and starvation was caused by resistance to his otherwise perfect plan.
These are the people (like Mike Lee) that I will support and fight shoulder to shoulder with. The leadership can all go straight to hell... satan already owns their souls so “WHAT DOES IT MATTER”!?
People in OH would sooner jump off a high cliff into the abyss than deny Boehner re-nomination and automatic reelection.
Not true - I live in OH and want him replaced. However, he isn’t from my district, so I can’t vote against him. He needs primaried.
The hammer will fall no matter the result of the elections of 2014. They just don’t want to chance losing.
They have to be crystal clear that when Obamacare is defunded, there has to be *something* in the vacuum. Not another government program, we can all hope, but some system to, in an orderly fashion, move people back to private healthcare.
Obamacare has effectively killed Medicare and Medicaid, so any talk of restoring these collapsing systems will be a disaster. Instead, to start with, a LOT of federal programs will have to be changed into block grants to the states.
This has to be done, so that much of the federal bureaucracy can be laid off and agencies slashed in size and power. Most of the administration of these systems will be left up to the states, with just rough guidelines on how to spend the money.
Then, “liberty enabling acts” need to be passed, both that citizens must “opt in” to federal benefits programs, but that they can also “opt out”; for example, never paying a dime into Social Security, on the promise that they will never get a dime out of Social Security.
Another “liberty enabling act” would be that people can opt out of any federal health care program, as well as routine health insurance, and thus would not have to pay any money to the government or insurers, *and* be exempt from HIPAA, so their medical records would again be private, and not accessible to anyone without the doctor’s and patient’s written permission.
They would, however, be able to freely purchase insurance for both traumatic care and long term nursing care. Just not ordinary medical care.
This is just the tip of the iceberg of what has to be ready for implementation prior to the defunding of Obamacare.
