On Friday, bestselling author Brad Thor offered to buy a new gun for George Zimmerman and all the ammunition he wants after learning the Department of Justice put a hold on the evidence in the case, delaying the return of Zimmerman's weapon.
“Read this carefully, as I don’t want 2 be misunderstood: SCREW the #DOJ. If they won’t give #Zimmerman his gun back, I’ll buy him a new one,” he tweeted.
“Whatever gun he wants + however much ammo, consider it done. I’m buying. Done deal,” he said in a tweet to Zimmerman's brother.
Thor addressed the issue earlier in the day on Chicago's "Windy City Live."
“At what point do we let an American citizen get done with the justice process?” he asked. “I mean this is a big deal, this could happen to anybody. If the government can keep hounding you, this guy’s life is ruined at this point. I know we have a dead child here but he was found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Trayvon Martin wasn’t on trial, George Zimmerman was, and he’s not guilty…at what point does he get to recommence his life?”

a plane ticket to Taiwan might be more useful than a gun at this point. Zimmerman’s life as he knew it is now over. He’s a posterboy for the left’s rage. he can come out of this prosperously but he’s going to have to fight for it and he risks losing everything-life included.
Agreed. Time to buy more of his books - anyone who stands up against evil gets my financial support, and the alleged “Justice” Department definitely qualifies as an organization to stand up against.
Brad Thor is really truly on of the good guys. His books are top notch. I’m about halfway through his latest one. Lots of Colonial History mixed in with mystery and spy thriller. Very good so far.

Interesting point about Zimmerman being the posterboy for the left’s rage. It’s ironic yet amusing that he is a minority and a registered DemocRAT who voted for Obama. The left and the RATS are “godless” and they devour their own. Obama and Holder in their “godless and lawless pursuit” of Zimmerman are savage-like in their quest. The jury has spoken and so has the Great OZ........
