I had a cousin (I must have a hundred of them) who was the same type. A really nice person and extremely religious but so liberal it was a bit disconcerting. She had no idea that a lot of her heroes were working for the other side.
That’s what my democrat sister tells me. She’s a democrat because they ‘CARE!’. It doesn’t make any difference that how they care results in the destruction of those same people.
