Phony, baloney, plastic banana good time rock ‘n’ rollers. They are the ones who are on a guilt trip. If his parents had stayed around and raised him he might still be alive today. Right now, they are only after the bling and kaching as well as their “15 minutes” as celebrities. These people are despicable.

Watching the logical trajectory...I can seem them starting the “Trayvon Martin Foundation,” dedicated to “equal justice” and various other civil rights causes. Both parents will become board members and celebrity spokesmen, with an annual salary in the mid-six figures (or higher). They will become the respondents of choice any time a black teenager is killed by someone who is white or hispanic, but never if the deceased is a victim of black-on-black crime.

Flash forward about 10 years. Someone will discover that much of the money raised by the Trayvon foundation is going to family members and other staffers, with virtually none allocated to the organization’s various projects. When confronted with that reality, the Martins will accuse the reporter of “racism” and move on.

Hey, it’s worked for Al Sharpton. He was the instigator of the Twana Brawley circus and responsible for the deaths at Freddie’s Fashion Mart. Except for a civil judgment in the Brawley case, he was never held responsible, and earns close to seven figures a year. The Martins ought to be good for at least $500,000 annually, in their new role as social activists.
