Move over NSA, here comes the Obamacare Big Brother database

Would you trust thousands of low-level Federal bureaucrats and contractors with one-touch access to your private financial and medial information? Under Obamacare you won’t have any choice.

As the Obamacare train-wreck begins to gather steam, there is increasing concern in Congress over something called the Federal Data Services Hub. The Data Hub is a comprehensive database of personal information being established by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to implement the federally facilitated health insurance exchanges. The purpose of the Data Hub, according to a June 2013 Government Accountability Office (GAO) report, is to provide “electronic, near real-time access to federal data” and “access to state and third party data sources needed to verify consumer-eligibility information.” In these days of secret domestic surveillance by the intelligence community, rogue IRS officials and state tax agencies using private information for political purposes, and police electronically logging every license plate that passes by, the idea of the centralized Data Hub is making lawmakers and citizens nervous.

If I know Anonymous, they’ll be in that database 15 seconds after it goes online.

And, they’ll have a field day with the info...

Listen to how many ways the IRS will be in our business.
They’ll be basing our costs on our income/assets. Also, did you hear the $440 million they need JUST to create the IT the IRS needs for Ocare?

No way it can be done in a couple of months (Oct 1st) if it’s as big as the $306 Million he quoted for most of it. Also, I believe he said “evolving” specifications - meaning they don’t even have the design specs solidified.

During the Obamacare hearings this week, one of the officials talked about the implementation of the various new IT system needed for Obamacare. One of the major problems he said is that taxpayer data that is to be provided to these exchanges is not secure.

What’s it gonna TAKE before people decide, yes, Obamacare is a venomous turkey that needs to be put out of its misery now?

I agree about resisting tyrants, however, the tyrants we need to resist are those from beyond this world. They can rule in our heads and that’s the most insidious place at all.

Abolishing Obama’s rule would be a nice start, POLITICALLY speaking. We need, however, to get our spiritual acts cleaned up first, before having the leverage against Satan that is needed. I think of Sarah Palin and she is in fact a wonderfully devoted Christian. However, I think she looked for the crowd who had not bowed its knees to Baal and failed to find it.

This is a government lubricated slippery slope that can only lead to a bad outcome.

Feds listen to all conversations looking for key words.
"I have nothing to hide, so listen to as many phone calls as you want."

The gov’t has cameras on every light pole.
"I have nothing to hide, so watch my every movement as much as you want."

Every car will have a black box and GPS for the government to know your every mile driven, where you’ve been, and how fast you drive.
"I have nothing to hide so examine every inch of mileage I drive."

The IRS will know every dollar I have in the bank and will know every dollar I spend on healthcare and why. "I have nothing to hide, so Federal bureaucrats and political operatives planted in the IRS can know every time I sneeze and every cold pill I take." Keep this in mind if you run for office and an incumbent/insider uses the data against you.

'Liberty and Freedom' have been boiled down to convincing you that the government now can be as intrusive and nosey as it wants since we are now at the “I have nothing to hide” standard of privacy. Pitiful. Disgraceful.

Reversal of these intrusions may require the fertilization of the Liberty Tree with the blood of tyrants and patriots.

Oh they care - they have worked for over 100 years maybe more to achieve what they have accomplished. As a FRiend stated in post 14, the tree of liberty needs water and nourishment.

I am a patriot. Please point me in the direction of the tyrants. I'll fertilize said tree. Hear that NSA? I know so many people that have a lot of fertilizer.
