Jay Z and Beyonce join Trayvon Martin's mother in NYC to kick off nationwide day of protests By KEVIN FASICK and CANDICE M. GIOVE Last Updated: 12:53 PM, July 20, 2013
Kicking off a day of nationwide protests for Trayvon Martin, his mother vowed to fight for victims of gun violence at a gathering this morning in Harlem.
We have moved on from the verdict, Sybrina Fulton told a crowd at the National Action Network on W. 145th Street.
Of course we are hurting, she added. Of course we are shocked and disappointed, but that just means we have to roll up our sleeves and continue to fight.
It has been a week since a Florida jury acquitted George Zimmerman of murder and manslaughter charges. He shot Martin dead on February 26, 2012, while on neighborhood patrol.

Disgusting.
HAH! Since when is rational an aspect of the herd who are demanding we memorialize a black drug addled thug wannabe who racially profiled an Hispanic man who the black thug then tried to bash the brains out of with a concrete sidewalk? LOL, don’t lose you sense of direction, FRiend.
So was it his stepmother who kicked him out to live with his father and girlfriend right? When his biological parents divorced who got custody of St. Skittles?
Didn’t St Skittles lived with an Aunt? Ok now I’m confuzzled LOL
Her name is Alicia Stanley.
Sybrina Fulton is probably celebrating. All she lost was a loser son whom she had thrown out for being a petty hood. In return, she got to spend time with Jay Z and Beyonce. Few people have ever made a better trade.
I have never felt the need to buy one of their records before this.
If I still had the Bruce Springsteen album I bought in the 1980s, I'd burn it.
When Tracy Martin left Fulton, she sent 2 year old Trayvon Martin to live with him.
Tracy Martin married Alicia Stanley, who raised Trayvon Martin from age 2 to age 15/16, when Tracy Martin left her to shack up with Brandy Green.
Stanley never formally adopted Trayvon Martin, so his custody was traded back and forth between Fulton, Green and Tracy's sister Ebony.
Fulton and Green each had their own son with a different father than Tracy Martin. These are the sons they lived with and raised.
As a result, living as a second fiddle to the wanted sons, Trayvon Martin had been spending time with Ebony Martin.
Never let the facts get in the way of the perpetual outrage of the race-obsessed malcontents. The truth ain’t in ‘em.
No doubt Race War is coming, the MSM wants it...big ratings don’cha know?
Nice photos!
They all look so Happy in their Hate and racist bigotry . Good Times!
Anybody feels the need to buy any Beyonce or JayZ records after this?
Never did. However I did see her movie Obsession which was surprisingly good. Won’t see another one though.
From wikipedia: He claims in his lyrics that in 1982, at the age of 12, he shot his older brother in the shoulder for stealing his jewelry
Wow! I had not heard of that before.
It isn't worth buying for aesthtetic reasons, let alone moral ones.
Shawn Carter is just dialing it in lately, musically.
Any (c)rap album is terrible. It goes without saying.
There are hundreds of excellent hip hop albums. MCHG is simply not even close to being one of them.
Good Lord!! Thank you for that Family Tree now it is making sense. Trayvon had no family stable home.
It they became crusaders on informing parents about the drug "lean" and other drugs that high school kids are making behind their parent's backs, instead of prepackaged Democrat talking points, I'd be a bit more sympathetic. I'd be a lot more sympathetic if they would acknowledge that their own actions and failures in controlling their adolecent son were the primary cause of his being out where he was not supposed to be, rather than in school.
