.....besides your reasons....why would anyone donate to what once was the foremost conservative site on the net? fr threw away it’s position to LEAD the conservative movement because it has no leadership....well it does....but won’t listen to anyone....it’s my way or the highway.....how’s that working out?
the site is archaic....even though there have been many volunteer to assist but are shunned......WHY???
....look at the fund raiser....they have become 24/7 52/365 ...why? partly because many of us have given up all hope of FR really making a difference and we’re tired of being scolded for thinking outside the box....hell, the infrastucture/software and the refusal to upgrade it is enough reason to not donate......
what exactly is fr accomplishing? to make change it must quit preaching to the choir and get off it’s a$$ and LEAD......
until that happens i’ll send my $’s where they can....

Ever think that *Choir* preaches to other people they know, people who only know what the MSM babbles out.
Free Republic is the primary stopping place for me where just about everything conservative will pop up and most of the time ahead of other conservative sources.
