A few years ago a FRiend was proudly posting about his new HiPoint and I had to run it down. I’ve felt bad about it since. Some of us have to go with what we can afford. If it works, it’s all good and I’ve heard the Kel Tec works.
But now that you mention it, knowing what we know now, I would steer George to something like a Taurus .357 revolver, shrouded, since his pistol went out of battery after one shot. Believe the slide was hung up on something. The fact that he only got one shot off makes it likely, I think, that he was jumped.

I figured that with the awkard angle of his hand and gun and Martin going after it and the panic, he “limp wristed” it so the shell didn’t eject. No matter.

I don’t know if it has a bearing on the firearm George would prefer but I noticed in videos from the trial that George was writing notes in a pad left-handed. So I presume he is left-handed.

I think if a gun shop were offering me whatever I wanted, a taurus snubby would be my last choice. He should probably get a Glock 30.
