Trayvon was a product of the environment he grew up in. The hoodie is intended to give a thug look, isn’t it? The trashy, violent role models for black kids are permitted by adults, aren’t they?
Responsibility for Trayvon’s behavior on the night he died lies with adults who have not paid attention to what’s going on with their youth, or don’t care, or don’t know what to do.
The political and entertainment people have let us down. They don’t realize that kids need to be protected from temptations that they are not yet able to to understand or resist.
