The First Family are heading back to Martha's Vineyard for a luxurious summer vacation, and are reportedly renting a secluded six-bedroom property worth an estimated $7.6 million.
President Barack Obama, wife Michelle and their two daughters missed out on a trip to the exclusive island last year due to campaigning in the 2012 elections.
But they are making up for it this year and jetting off to Massachusetts on August 10 for a week. Their nearest neighbors will be Cheers star Ted Danson and Oscar-winning wife Mary Steenburgen.

I tried out Martha’s Vineyard last summer - not that impressed. Seemed like a major touristy palace. I had much more fun at Chatham on Cape Cod.

Does Danson still eat fish after predicting all ocean life would be extinct by the mid 1990’s ?
Martha’s Vinyard became trendy because the Hippy musicians would slum at Carly Simon’s home. My cousin Ray was a “cool cat” and hung out with Neil Young and Steven Stills. They say there are only two seasons on MV. Tourist and Suicide.
What? They’re not going back home to Chicago? Oh, wait, they’ve never been back.

I was becoming concerned they were so busy trying to think of illegal ways to sic their racist DOJ on Zimmerman that they might forget their weekly vacation.
And they didn’t go last year to Marxist Vineyard because it was an election year...makes sense.
Why is it that the liberals used to talk about how much “W” was on vacation, but never talk about this president’s vacations?
Some liberal said that Bush spent almost one whole year of his eight years as president on vacation. I would love to see such a calculation done on Obama’s time as president. And see how much hay the liberals make over that.

Well, it might have looked bad for the president to be vacationing among the wealthy and powerful during an election year. Obama has more flexibility now, now that elections are out of the picture for him.
I don’t imagine thats some cheap Schwinn from Wal-mart.
