Nah, I’m thinking a good acid sprayer on a few mob crowds and that BS will stop. Its not time to show any fear but it is time to forget the PC crap. The end law of the land is use of force and it always has been; discussions will not work with mentally disturbed low IQ lemmings.
You could try non-destructive responses. I always thought setting loose a few skunks into such a mob would be a sufficient deterrent.
Load up the water canons with pig sludge.
