The left claimed they didn’t want young girls hurt by quacks in back alleys using coat hangers. But they didn’t want them to have to go to a facility that met the same standards as every other medical facility.
I guess they just wanted to be slightly better than back alleys. Otherwise it might cost as much as say...a dental clinic or an ophthalmology lab to run an abortion clinic.
If only one republican would have stood up on the senate floor and said exactly what you just said. He could have had a bent coat hanger in one hand and a straight coat hanger in his other hand.
