Man! Is Toad’s Place still open? Some buddies and I drove over to there from Subbase New London in, let’s see, must have been 1976 to see Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee. In those days I was more into the Blues than Ted Nugent style rock. Funny how things change.

Yup, Toads is still The Place. A few years ago the Stones played there, unknown to most. Mick’s daughter was a Yalie at the time.

Toad's Place still open?....Don't know...Have not been to New Haven for well over 20 years...but I did see Johnny Winter,Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Stones and a few other big names there.

Don't know much else about the state of the place toady.
