Now Connolly is attacking Issa about Issa claiming he hasn’t attacked Obama. (I’m not watching this, only listening, but I assume Liz and Carter are just twiddling their thumbs during this exchange.)
Issa finishes up his defense claiming the TP IS an enemy of Obama. he stands by that.

That could be a very sharp two-edged sword.
Connolly was demonstrating his inadequate understanding of the English language by equating Issa’s reference to the targeting of the “President’s enemies” with an accusation that Obama himself directed it.
Then when Issa clarified it, thereby refuting the charge, Connolly tried to drag some other comment of Issa’s into the argument. Typical liberal evasiveness and use of third-grade schoolyard debate tactics.
