“Nigga....the whole world say it’s a racist word. ...around 2000, 2001 - they change it around. That means a male....any kind of male. Any kind, (even) Chinese...my Chino...but (say) nig-grrrrrrr - (and I) advise you not to be around black people, because they not gonna have it like that. - Rachel Jeantel on CNN, July 2013. (snip)”

Translation from the Ebonics:

" 'Nigga'...that word, pronounced as it is spelled...is seen by the entire world as a racial epithet. Somewhere around the years 2000-2001, someone...I'm unsure who...changed the literal meaning. It is now used, mainly by Afro-Americans, to mean 'male' of any race....even a Chinese male.
However, if one utters the word 'nigger', it would be best if one were not in the company of Afro-Americans when uttering it. For they will simply not stand for it and will demonstrate their displeasure by physically assaulting those who would utter it."
- - Rachel Jeantel on CNN, July 2013.

That’s an excellent job of channeling Barbara Billingsly from her ‘Airplane’ role. :=)

Thank you Bloody sam roberts for knowing how to speak “Ebonics” and translating that. I don’t speak “Ebonics” I only do my best to speak proper English as often as possible.
