Let’s see if I got this right: It’s not racist if it ends in an “a” instead of an “er”, unless it’s said by somebody who’s not black (although in her original formulation that really didn’t seem to matter), or unless it’s said by somebody who’s an adult (’that be old school - we be new school’, so I guess it’s really the school that matters), or unless the person who says it “doesn’t make you feel right”.
That really helps a lot, except that Lamont forgot to ask her if it matters what the phase of the moon is when one uses the word.
