The message that's being sent is, if someone black is seen outside your home, lock your doors and stay inside because if you go outside and something happens its your fault - that is - if you are white-ish... It's like Zimmerman, if you are in your car and you see a black person, you are obligated to stay in your car, it's entirely your fault if you get out and then get assaulted as a result.
