Rachel's claim that her speech is affected by her underbite might be true. (Any maxillofacial surgeons out there who could confirm?)
However I am pretty sure that not all persons who have uncorrected underbite have speech problems - I have family members who were born that way, and have never had surgery, but speak perfectly.
And then there is at least one rather prominent person who appears to have an underbite too...
