The Obama Administration is misleading Congress and the American people when it asserts that it plans to maintain a strong national defense. On February 13, 2012, President Barack Obama unveiled his fiscal year (FY) 2013 defense budget request.[1] The request comes on the heels of the January 5, 2012, release of a new strategic guidance outlining the nation’s defense policy.[2] The numbers in the budget submission reveal that the nation’s defense is the Administration’s lowest budget priority among the major responsibilities of the federal government. Well, even she knows that Obama has just wasted 100 million taxpayer dollars on a PHOTO OP vacation to Africa. He visited three countries where US interests are ZERO. She's a pol and would have preferred that some of that money go to FLA NG members who actually earn it.
