I’ve been waiting a long time to hear some politician, any politician, with the power to do anything about it, say the first word about protecting Christians in this world. So far the only taker has been Vladimir Putin. I have no plans to boycott the Russian Olympics.

Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has said that the United States should consider a boycott of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Russia if Moscow decides to grant asylum to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. It is time for Senator Lindsey Graham to retire. Just who does he think will be punished besides the athletes of the USA?
The Senator is out of step and out of touch, in my opinion.

Carter forced the US to boycott the Olympics in Russia during his time. There was a great deal of damage done - all of it suffered by the USA. We were the big losers.
The Olympics were originally designed to be free from the control of politics. During the Cold War the Communist nations played a big role in their nation’s Olympic teams; they along with Carter.

Though the gub mint does not directly finance Olympics they none the less lend ALL KINDS of help to the effort.
