Heck, why stop there! We’ve not had a decent candidate since Ronald Reagan left office, including GHWB, his worthless son, and Bob (I never saw a tax I wouldn’t vote for) Dole. Bush, the elder, started a downward trend that has never stopped. True, none of them were as bad as their alternatives, but that isn’t saying much.
