Among its reports, Trayvon Martin’s drug use, explaining how the Skittles and Arizona Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail drink he carried that night are ingredients that, when mixed with dextromethorphan (DXM) cough syrup, create “Lean”, a concocted high which can cause psychosis and aggression over the longer term. According to the autopsy report, Martin’s liver showed damage consistent with DXM abuse.

He texted that he was looking for codeine, a schedule 2 narcotic, right before he met George Zimmerman. This was to make “purple Drank” which Martin had been using for at least two years prior to meeting Zimmerman. Looks to me like Trayvon Martin was a junkie.

For cryin’ out loud! How do the kiddies these days dream up this crazy ‘get high’ stuff? Skittles and cough medicine? What ever happened to the good old 6 pack of beer?
I have no idea why, when the defense won approval to introduce the toxicology report, they did not go after this. Unless they only were allowed the THC traces. Or maybe "consistent with DXM" isn't all that significant (maybe lots of people have that "consistent" measurement?
He had not opened either the bag of skittles or the watermelon tea— he was headed home to combine with dextromethorphan (any generic cough syrup will do) The DXM high has been around since the 60’s not new-— side effect is DXM at that level dosing makes people very edgy and easily angered, so too does withdrawal effect of DXM. The really want real codeine cough syrup which is a Sched. III narcotic
