Finally fix the system?
Tried that in 86............
You can't even enforce the laws currently on the books........

Republicans should say “Oh well, we tried and Obama rejected the effort so we are moving on the border security.

But they already have a path to their citizenship. Typically that path is in a southerly direction.

Amnesty = 50 million new democrats in 10 years.
No amnesty = issue to beat GOP with in 2014.
As long as the GOP continues to lie on its back & expose its genitals like a cocker spaniel, a win-win for the president.

While we may allow these people to stay here legally, we do not owe them citizenship. Indeed, we would be making a GRAVE MISTAKE to allow them the right to vote.

leave the status of 11 million people or so unresolved Their status is resolved; they would be allowed to stay by the grace of the American people but will not be granted the privilege of citizenship.
To: Sub-Driver
The government did an amnesty in 1986 and promised to fix the border security. They failed to follow up on that commitment. Only a fool would allow the wankers another bite at the apple. Just shred the damn immigration bill(s). There is no intent to ever follow up on security.

What would he know about U.S. citizenship?
To: Sub-Driver
And the answer to everything obama pushes should be the same:
Where does a scandal ridden president who can’t even tell us where he was during benghazi, who sends the IRS after his political enemies, who spies on the press, who has the worst deficit, economic, and umemployment record in history get off demanding ANYTHING of ANYBODY?
