Is there anything we can actually do (legally) to stop the madness? This has become a feeding frenzy. I worry that the madness won’t stop until Zimmerman is in jail or has been murdered.

Yes; though we'll have to play dirty.

By play dirty, I mean that we have to start going on the offensive, quit letting them tell us the rules, and most importantly not be afraid to do real damage to real people and their lives. The go along and get along mentality has got to be dropped right now.
