In the wake of the George Zimmerman acquittal, the singer said he would not be performing in the Sunshine State until its Stand Your Ground law is "abolished." He also said he would not be performing in any other state that recognizes the law, which some say contributed to Zimmerman's acquittal in the shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26, 2012.
Any chance he could include Michigan in that boycott?
It’s going to cost you ...
In more ways than one I am sure.
LOL
I guess as long as the ebony is on top of the ivory, they live together in total harmony. If not, the ebony will boycott, loot and rob to restore the harmony.
Where be Florida,cracker?
You are black, and I am white
You are blind as a bat, and I have sight
Side by side, you are my amigo, Negro,
let’s not fiiiiiiiight!
This one post says more about where we are as a country than any that I have seen in a long time. And I mean it in “cursive”.
The jury, they old
My generation, we cool
Not only is he blind, he is also dumb.
Note to Stevie, Floriduh’s SYG law had NOTHING to do with this case. It was all about the right to self defense when you think your life is in danger.
You Know Stevie, like the reason you have those Armed Body Guards?
Hollywood really is just a big cult. Either tow the line or get out.
Yeah I know right. What a fine upstanding individual he is. I’m not surprised that he would take the side of somebody whose first instinct is to beat somebody up when confronted. If Chris had a son he would behave like Trayvon.
Who does he think he is? Someone important?
I am going to file this in the “Who cares?” file cabinet.
Stevie back in the day you where the man. Now why don’t you get some of the other singers to boycott Florida, heck please ask them to boycott all of the USA! Ask Beyonce too.
BUMP
The threshold for political involvement by these “geniuses” keeps sinking lower and lower. Stevie is an incredibly talented guy but what has he done in 30 years? And now this petty protest. It’s really sad.
:)
30 states officially Stevie Wonder free. I’m sure other pro-2A states will also get added to his list.
