Reporter just called it an “unlawful march and protest ...”

Anyone in this city with damage to life or property should sue this city government for failure of duty to protect its citizens.

"Anyone in this city with damage to life or property should sue this city government for failure of duty to protect its citizens."

The Lt. said the cops were out there to protect the protesters from injury. From who? Nobody's attacking them. They've given up their right to protection by being illegally out there.

For the umpteenth millionth time: The police are under NO, nada, zip, zilch, zero, duty to protect citizens; not even when they're in uniform, not even when they're on duty. SCOTUS has routinely upheld this and ruled AGAINST the plaintiffs.

The duty and responsibility of protection relies in the individual citizen, not the police.
