Miguel Angel Trevino Morales, the notoriously brutal leader of the feared Zetas drug cartel, has been captured in the first major blow against an organized crime leader by a Mexican administration struggling to drive down persistently high levels of violence, a U.S. federal official confirmed.

I just read
the BBC article about this story. Apparently he had $2 million dollars and eight guns in the truck. If I were carrying $2m I'd have eight guns too. He also seems to have a thing for murdering large numbers of immigrants from Central and South America.

He will cut a deal with the prosecutors on behalf of the Obama administration for a guilty plea and will sentenced to time served for providing information as to who is renting out the donkeys on the drug trail.
