Honestly, Tick, I'm shocked by the fact that after hearing that evidence, 3 out of 6 women voted to find George Zimmerman guilty of either manslaughter or murder.
My faith in the judgement of women has dropped considerably as a result of hearing that.

It’s about what I expected. I figured there would be some mentally weak ones, but I had faith that there were enough reasoning, intelligent voices to sway the weaker ones. All it takes is one or two, and we apparently had THREE good ones. I’m a glass half full kind of guy.
Now, let me add this: suppose the jury was six men, half of them black. What do you think the initial vote would have been? What do you think the final outcome would have been? I think that in that scenario a hung jury or, God forbid, a manslaughter conviction would have been equally or more likely than with the six women.
West, O’Mara, the six women jurors, and Mr. Z all came through this just fine. Just as I and a few others argued they would from the time they were picked.
