I’m trying very hard to understand the viewpoint of Rachel Jeantel and the teenage black culture she lives in, mitigating my own view from a very different culture with hers... Ultimately trying to reconcile what remains with what I need to understand.
Two things are coming to mind: First, I don’t like what I’m seeing, and its not my fault for having scarce sympathy for her view of the truth in this case, and as Trayvon’s character witness. She’s not a very complex personality, as compelling as she is to watch.
Secondly, I’m sorry Rachel, but you have a bone in your brain.
Yeah.... understanding her “community” is not difficult. It is LOST. Biblically, emotionally, and functionally lost.
