That was the main reason hussein got involved in 2012. However, to be a can't lose situation for the left, more is required.
That this case represents a chance to make law abiding citizens afraid to protect themselves is another reason this was an attractive issue for hussein to be involved with.
That the case might scare law abiding community members from forming neigborhood watch groups (a job for the government in the leftist worldview) is another reason hussein wanted to get involved.
Stirring up white guilt would also be good for a nice block of votes.
Post-2012, hussein wanted to be personally involved in order to advance the critical race theories that he holds so dear and let blacks know that all their problems in society are due to persistent, genetically based racism of whites and that their only safe haven is on the Democratic plantation.
