So what actually happened to the jewelry?????

The descriptions matched, great. But was the burglery victim ever called in and allowed to identify and reclaim them?

That’s a huge hole in the sequence of events ...

The jewelry was taken to the Police Department and labeled as lost. It wasn’t until I think last week the reporter or the paper who dug into the corruption at the Miami School cross referenced the jewelry with the B&E and notified the Police of the rightful owner.

It is my understanding that they are waiting on the Police to see if they will contact the crime victims to regain their property.
