I read that the jewelry items matched the description of stolen items from the victim in the gated community.

Possible, but NOT probable. Martin lived over 200 miles away from where he was killed, and he was caught with the items in his backpack at his regular school, near his home.

It is my understanding that the items found matched items stolen in his home area, but I could be mistaken.
