My support has to be earned. Some no-name trying to divide the ticket will get called out as such. Abbott has a solid record in office.
I’m sure there will be other candidates in the primary field. Wouldn’t it be rather presumptuous for General Abbot to agree to one on one debates with Pauken when there are bound to be other candidates in the field? I’m sure General Abbot will be at the pre-primary candidate debates whenever and wherever they are held.
Just a suggestion, TexGrill...posting uncaptioned pictures really isn’t too effective as a rule. Heck, one time I was at a party with Eric Clapton..stood shoulder to shoulder. You would have thought looking at the picture I was about to jump on the jet with him to his next gig as his main squeeze.
It really shouldn’t be too hard to craft a battle plan. Educate yourself on Pauken and give a definitive argument why people should vote for him. Not why they should not vote for Abbott. Be definitive and avoid “catch phrases” (work horse, etc.) Tell people HOW he is a workhorse.
That will work until closer to the election...then it’s duck and cover time, lol.
As you said, Rome wasn’t built in a day. And I will add..it’s easier to catch flies with sugar. Just trying to help you out with your future (or present) career.
Myself, I support Abbott today. He has done a lot of good. I don’t have anything against Pauken except he is trying to split the ticket, which he has every right to do. But if a strong Dem candidate shows up..it could be very detrimental. The election is over a year away.
Sound suggestions. Constructive criticism for me, I do not deem as an attack on Pauken. So no photo on this post. I also hope more Freepers do some research on Pauken too. By the way in regards to the caption, when I post the Rove photo in the future, I will provide the Web link where the picture was found. I appreciate your common sense advice.
Well, you might keep in mind that most, if not all, on this site are political junkies. The Texas Freepers usually know who is in office, who has been in office and their strengths and weaknesses.
Just a thought.
Have a good evening.
You have a good evening
