What we're not hearing from all of this is what does the "Hispanic Community" have to say about this? Nobody is talking about that. What would the media and the Democrats say if suddenly one of their major constituencies stood up on their hind legs and raised hell about one of theirs being improperly prosecuted?

But the media, being the jackals they are, don't play up Mr. Zimmerman's Hispanic background, as we all know.

For the most part, Rick Scott has been a good governor. But his stepping in to appoint Angela Corey as a Special Prosecutor when the local prosecutor, not seeing adequate cause to file charges, did not do so, has caused me to give second thoughts to his suitability for a second tem.

He did partially redeem himself when the panel he selected to review the Stand Your Ground Law came back with a recommendation for no changes.

If a viable Republican candidate runs against him in the primary, I will campaign against Scott. I’m a firm believer in 2nd Amendment rights, and the right of self defense.
