Fireworks here too and in fireworks illegal NY for that matter. I was wondering why they were shooting off fireworks 9 days after Independence Day.
I was watching Blade Runner and the dogs kept barking at the noise.

Incorrect premise.
Trayvon attacked Zimmerman, then escalated the fight until Zimmerman had to shoot him. It was a “good shoot”.
This case is a teachable moment for firearms instructors. Zimmerman waited far too long to shoot.
One tiny smidgeon of justice in a very unjust world.

Hmmm...didn’t think anything of it but a few hours ago I was at work. Mrs p6 picks me up at midnight if she has truck. Before the verdict I had no problem calling her on T-Mobile. When I tried several times after the verdict it went to voice mail.
When she picked me up she said she never got the message I had called.
Curious.

Liberals never lose, they just have to keep trying until they win. Then Conservatives are supposed to accept the Liberals' victory and not try to undo it.
Been hearing fireworks for the past few hours. Wasn’t sure what it was all about until I got home and checked FR. San Jose, Cali. Some African Americans here, but primarily Caucasian and “White Hispanics” in my area.
I am and there was yelling at one nearby household but all has been quiet since that initial verdict reaction.
Fireworks here as well just after verdict.
I fully expect Zimmerman to get the Ramos / Compean treatment from a SWAT gang of Federal jackbooted thugs any night now - probably around 0330.
The arrest will be aggressive, violent, humiliating and brutal. If they think they have half an excuse, they will gladly murder him along with his dog, if he has one.
If he survives the subsequent beatings in prison, he will rot in a solitary confinement “protective custody” cage like they did - with all of it’s punitive privations cut off from his family for years if not the rest of his miserable life.
The Obama Hole-Duh syndicate is not going to accept this verdict or leave him alone, of that I’m pretty sure. He is to be “made an example of” and probably will be... soon.
Zimmerman might want to consider joining Snowden as an international refugee while he still can.

My guess is that they’ll look at the evidence they weren’t allowed to consider and have a reaction not unlike someone who nearly crashes their car. They’ll think “if I had voted to convict Zimmerman without knowing this stuff, how could I have lived with myself?”
They’ll have a moment of anger at the state for withholding evidence, a moment of disgust with Judge Meat Loaf, and then congratulate themselves on a very wise decision.
