What makes you think Snowden's info and "secrets" necessarily jeopardize US Security is ANY way?
I believe he indicated he had access to such information from his first interview. He indicated he was not interested in selling information like that to other countries because it would harm the US, which was not his intent. His intent was to inform us citizens (and other countries) how WE are being harmed......how our freedoms are being trampled on.
He likely has a means by which "Pandora's box", as you called it, will be opened if anything happens to him. That is what Greenwold is warning the US about.
