The white guy was obnoxious but you can’t go around hitting everyone who is obnoxious.
The black guy should be charged with aggravated battery.
The white guy could probably have been charged with being a public nuisance. But I wouldn’t charge him with anything now given his injuries.
They probably won't bother.
In NYC, there is no way the jury will not be at least half black, and there is no way black jurors will convict a fellow black over hitting a white who said "n-word". The prosecutors know this. The defendant knows this too, which is why he won't even submit to a plea bargain.
