The white guy will be charged with a hate crime and sidewalk abuse.

A black man almost killing a white man over some words is a “happy ending”? Really?

He got what he asked for.
However, had the ethnicity been reversed, the slugger would be in custody and charged with aggravated assault.

Outrageous ! Where is the sensitivity on the part of the person who punched him ? Where’s Eric Holder ? Where’s the justice ?
To: jimbo123
A reasonable response to “n*gger” would have been “cr*cker”...not putting the guy in need of a respirator or brain surgery.

Really? Uttering an offensive word is worse than almost killing the man? Whew.

The white guy was laid off from Goldman Sachs and had been dumped by his wife. The black guy was caught and charged with assault.

so if a black says “I lost my job because of you crackas” then cracking his head on the cement would be a good way to go?
Man, don’t you think you’re getting indoctrinated a litle by the media?

When I was growing up and it wasn’t a criminal act to insult people, I was taught that “sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me”. I was taught that it was not appropriate to react to name calling physically, but it was appropriate if someone physically attacked me.
To: jimbo123
It appears that the white guy deserved what he got. Well, the punch anyway; not the serious injury that may have resulted.

If this guy dies it’ll provide an interesting contrast to the Zimmerman case.

These days it is. Remember, a person is guilty until proven innocent. Just ask Mr. Zimmerman.
To: Livin_large
He was stupid...he lost his job because of cheap labor.

I agree, the loudmouth got what he deserved. Are all of us allowed to attack anyone who insults us?
If not, which of us are allowed?
