I mean they can’t even acquit of 2nd degree? It’s insane!! I like MOM but I don’t think he was mean enough about TM, and didn’t come out and say “My client is a good man”. Sure he had his hands tied with the TM text’s being thrown out, but if there is a hung jury at least the texts can come in on a second trial. Unfortunately, the state usually wins on a re-trial.
As inept as this prosecution was and with no evidence to support either charge of 2nd degree murder or manslaughter it’s clear a couple of these bubble heads are wanting to convict an innocent man.
When it is supposed to be a jury of your peers, why are six women judging two males? Since it was not the case here, what are our options as a society.

Who says the jury hasn’t decided against 2nd Degree? You do realize the jury doesn’t come out and report their decisions on a charge by charge basis....as they decide, and then go back in to deliberate the other charges? Maybe I’m misunderstanding your point on 2nd degree.
I’m a preacher, not an attorney. If I were an attorney and been in MOM’s shoes, I would have undoubtedly been more demonstrative, graphic, forceful, illustrative, and depicting than MOM was (even with hands tied behind back). Of course, that’s my nature; therefore I would have been myself.
