I’ve served on two juries and both were in the early ‘90s before cell phones were so commonplace. I’m speculating but I would guess cell phones would be disallowed in a jury deliberation room.
Well, good. My fear was that one of the jurors was communicating to the outside world. Absent that, then all we have is some wild-eyed speculation from the friend of Zimmerman who had “inside” information.
