This upcoming question will be interesting.

It is possible that it is coming from just one juror not the entire panel.

The panel may be making her ask it of the court because she doesn’t believe their answer to it.

Now that the jury is being asked for a more specific question, the question may be dropped.

If I was a juror and was given the judge's instructions concerning manslaughter, I too would be confused and I too would ask for further explanation. The instructions were as clear as mud. They deserve that one-line general question in response. They were saying: please explain voluntary manslaughter ("by Act", LOL) so that all of us can understand you.
