That is an interesting comment but If GZ saw the entry wound he may have known another round was not necessary.

Goes to presence of mind. Most likely GZ was in shock.

A point which should have been made but was not.

If a stranger with a CCW was walking down the street and saw Martin smashing Zimmerman’s head repeatedly being smashed into the concrete, they could legally shoot Martin if they felt Zimmerman’s life was in danger.

A stranger could legally shoot him but Zimmerman could not shoot him in self defense?

That would have been a huge point to make IMO.

did the gun jam or did the cartrage stovepipe? .... I never heard any ballistics entered to that effect .... there was speculation the the gun may have jamed because it was limp wristed in that confined firing position

I wondered if the cartrage was found to the left or the right of the fight as the cartrage whould have been expelled out of the port on the right side of the gun and would be on the right of the fight scene if GZ were on the bottom and on the left if GZ were on top of TM
