There are several possibilities. Here are three:

They have discounted self defense but don't see enough intent for M2.

They have discounted intent for M2 and are now looking at Manslaughter.
.
They know he is innocent by since a man died they feel that some punishment is due.

Why would they DISCOUNT M2?? If it is because they thought there was self defense....then manslaughter should be discounted too...

One lawyer on Fox just said she definitely thinks Acquital is OFF the table...
