Probably....I assume there is only one feed in the courtroom to service all media. Someone would had to have given permission for that feed to be turned on. Just a few posts ago, someone said police were in the press area as well. I do know the judge has stated there would be several hours between the jury’s announcement of a verdict and the public announcement.

Why would that be the case? The jury must be present in the court room for the reading of the verdict, which will be live or at least reported live via social media. Several hours’ notice does no good unless it’s specifically to plan the details of whisking the jurors out of the court room to safety under cover.
