Rhubarb? For pie?

Have not had much experience with rhubarb - IIRC the cutting is critical - no? Parts poisonous?

Stay away from the leaves -- they can be toxic.

But the stalks can be chopped like celery, boiled with sugar (plus cinnamon and lemon juice) and will make a fine pie.

Yes, the leaves - that is my recollection!

It has been many years since I have seen rhubarb - have never grown it in my garden.
