I recall several times over the almost twenty years of this. The only time I recall him being right on something this controversial is backing that basketball player against the charge of rape.
He was wrong taking the side of Clinton vis-a-vis a major contributor getting an undeserved burial spot at Arlington National Cemetery. The man's body was removed.
Again the theme was that he is an independent IMO here he's gone way too far coming to close to accusing us of being racists.

It’s extremely simple: don’t assault people.
We know to a certainty that TM assaulted GZ and not the other way around. There is not a mark on TM except for the gunshot wound. GZ’s mashed nose and cuts and scrapes on his head certainly did not happen after the shooting. If you assault people they will defend themselves.
Florida law is very clear, a person is justified in using deadly force if he or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony Fla. Stat. § 776.012(1)
Having your head beat against concrete can cause death or great bodily harm and it is reasonable to believe so when it is your head being beaten.

To Mike: Martin instigated assault and potentially fatal battery on George Zimmerman. Police investigators have corroborated Zimmerman’s account of the incident, and that is why TM is dead. “Deserve” is a loaded word, a wordsmith like yourself should know that. If attacking an armed victim results in death of the attacker, then yeah, he “deserved” it.
