“If I belong to a gun group, pay dues and support their efforts legislatively, it better dam well be partisan.”

exactly. I like my politicians extremely rightwing and no middle of the ground GOPE/RINO’s. The more partisan, the better.

When they’ve been around as long as the NRA and have quality people like the NRA they might eventually be relevant. right now I am perplexed as to why a true believer in the 2nd Amendment would leave the NRA to join this bunch of no bodies. Sure seems fishy on the surface!!!!

Any list you get your name on is a door to letting them on you might have guns.

I'll second that.

The NRA defends the 2nd Amendment passionately and without apology. I have little patience for conservatives who have bought into the line that they’re somehow “too extreme”.

The NRA by the way has no position on abortion, spending, affirmative action, military spending, etc. They just push for the 2A, so how is the NRA being partisan, other than standing by the 2A?

Yep. Every election cycle I get mail from the NRA telling me I should vote for certain a$$clown democrats because supposedly these democrats are "pro-2A". It makes me want to scream-but then the NRA has never claimed to be anything but single-issue.
