Years before they would endure a televised pummeling in the Florida courtroom of Judge Debra Nelson, the two lawyers representing accused murderer George Zimmerman actually donated money to the prickly jurists first election campaign, records show.
In 1999, Republican Governor Jeb Bush appointed Nelson, a lifelong Democrat, to fill a vacancy in the 18th Judicial Circuit (covering Seminole and Brevard counties). When Nelson ran the following year for a full six-year term, she donated 85 percent of her campaigns $151,000 war chest

Agreed. Well, I think any number of 2016 candidates can pull this one out of his back pocket come primary time, if necessary.

If Jeb goes for the 2016 nomination, I will be sure that two women haunt him all along the way: Judge Nelson and Terri Schiavo.

This is how it works.
You donate to judges, Judges then “appoint you” for a conflict case where the PD can’t take the case. You get your donation back.
It is all a scam.

I am always amazed when I have a problem that just can't be defined properly in my mind and then I come to FR and it is summed up within just a few words. Thanks!!

Having sat on several juries and listened to different DA’s closing arguments, I sit watching this DA’s feeble attempt with feigned emotion and “who you gonna believe me or your lying eyes” baffle em with BS rebuttal.
This guy knows this is not going to come out his way.

All I can say about this circus/show trial is: Charles Manson must be shaking with glee at the impending race war. Whatever the outcome, we are already suffering the effects from the race baiters.
